Finance and Audit Commission
Also known as: F&A Commission
A volunteer City advisory body that reviews the City's finances, including the investment portfolio it examines each quarter.
The Finance and Audit Commission is a group of resident volunteers appointed to advise the City Council on financial matters. Among its standing duties, it reviews the City's pooled investment portfolio every quarter. It is an advisory body — it does not set the budget — but its reviews are part of the City's financial oversight.
